Material Handler Warehouse
Join a growing team today! This position controls the inventoried materials used on work orders in production. Maintain physical and systematic accuracy of the materials. Tasks include putting away and organizing incoming materials, issuing materials to production along with verifying, disposing and putting away returns.
Responsibilities:
Understand how to read production work orders and use the information to plan the work.
Stage material for production work orders and ensure enough materials are pulled to prevent any downtime.
Communication shortages immediately.
Verify and disposition returned materials from production and insure proper labeling, inventory control and storage in proper location.
Perform cycle counts on required frequency.
Must be crossed-trained in shipping & receiving and work in those areas when needed.
Skills Required:
Must be organized and detailed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to make reasonable priority decisions.
Work independently, self driven.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
