Position Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator will perform a broad range of HR responsibilities in support of the on-site manufacturing plant operations and corporate headquarters.
The HR Coordinator will gain hands on experience in the areas of staffing, on-boarding, training, compliance, policy development, pay and benefits administration, and job description development as well as learn how the HR department impacts the organization, managers, employees, and job applicants.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the coordination and administration of the hiring process for hourly and salaried recruitment.
Responsibilities will include job postings internal and external, scheduling interviews, administering background check and drug testing processes, and retention.
Assist in onboarding preparation for employee orientation meetings ensuring all new hires complete the on-boarding process.
Working with new hires at orientation to complete their checklist.
Collecting identification, photos for welcome email.
Processing new hire paperwork I9, E-Verify, finalizing checklists.
Processing/completing unemployment requests and employment verifications.
Assist with the coordination and administration of the hiring process for hourly and salaried recruitment.
Responsibilities will include, supporting hourly recruitment, job postings internal and external, scheduling interviews, administering background check and drug testing processes, applicant tracking documentation, record retention.
Assist in new hire and termination paperwork.
Issue badge access, update access as requested for all locations.
Administer uniform program, badges, and employee lockers.
General inquiry assistance to employees.
Assist in updating EE information in UKG.
Backup administrator for company communication boards Support company events and parties.
Maintain employee files and the HR filing system.
Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
Sorts and distributes HR Mail.
Backup to receptionist, Fridays, and vacations.
Qualifications:
1-2 years prior Human Resources experience preferred.
Associate's or bachelor's in business/human resources management.
Project and timeline management experience.
Basic knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to meet the needs of employees and the business.
Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork, and flexibility.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Bilingual Spanish, Swahili or Hmong is a plus.
Location and Hours:
Primarily located at our Little Chute, WI office, with some travel to our Neenah, WI facility.
Hours are standard business hours Monday - Friday.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
The employees must frequently lift and/or move items up to and including fifty (50) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job are close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This employee may occasionally have to operate business machinery.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
