As a Training Coordinator, your responsibilities include the development, management, and coordination of new hire and current employee department trainings.
The Training Coordinator will also be responsible for increasing employee's versatility, expertise, and enthusiasm via hands on training, motivational support, and encouragement.
Responsibilities:
Obtain locker information, collect PPE, meet new hire on first day to begin training.
Create and revise SOP's, OPL's, work instructions and LMS training.
Lead new hire introduction process and checklist review.
Provide training modules as assigned by leadership, provide plant tour, and cover company acronyms to better enhance assimilation.
Maintain training tracking matrix spreadsheet and documentation filing.
Assist supervisor in training assignment for new hire and existing employees.
Provide new hire with training manual and material needed to perform their function.
Instruct trainers on training program and performance expectations.
Follow up with trainers and trainees throughout training period to provide guidance and consistency.
Report out on training program and results to supervisory staff.
Observe, assess, and validate Hands on Demonstrations, trainers and training processes.
Complete trainer observation form to assess trainer capabilities.
Instruct employees in correct product assembly and inspection techniques to improve overall product quality, efficiency, and ergonomics.
Time and record employee proper placing performance as directed by Supervisor.
Review placing performance with employees and Supervisor, offering recommendations and methods for improvement.
Project management of department needs as assigned, while working independently.
Basic understanding of all job functions within the department supporting; ability to run equipment or complete tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience in Food Manufacturing environment.
The ability to read, write and understand English is required.
Strong one-on-one communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet the information needs of the team through regular and effective communication and follow-up.
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to use Microsoft suite of products including Excel.
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.
Excellent training skills and ability to provide direction effectively to others.
Very strong administrative and planning skills.
Positive, respectful, high energy, team focused, and motivating style with the team and across functions.
Team player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot a variety of issues (assess a situation, identify the cause, and determine potential solutions).
Takes initiative to make things better and is positive and supportive of process improvement efforts.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
Strong record of performance in the areas of attendance, safety, quality, and productivity.
High school diploma/GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
Preferred Bilingual- Hmong/ Spanish (NOT REQUIRED) Hours and Pay:
The hours are 6a-6p on a 2-2-3 schedule at our Little Chute, Wisconsin facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
The employees must frequently lift and/or move items up to and including fifty (50) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job are close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This employee may occasionally have to operate business machinery.
